Academic Affairs Department

This department has a supervisory role over the academic performance and progress of Saudi students sponsored to study in the U.S. - from the commencement of their program until their graduation. The department is divided into the following geographical areas:

  • Northeast region
  • Western region
  • Southern region
  • East Midwest region
  • Western Midwest region
  • Saudi Universities & Governmental Agencies Department
  • Medical Unit
  • Self-Sponsored Students Department

The department provides the following services:

  • Supervises and monitors the students’ academic progress via individual academic advisors and regional managers (in the departments above).
  • Direct supervision of the Medical students’ training.
  • Corresponds with MOHE as well as other sponsoring agencies regarding all issues related to the students’ academic requests.
  • Supervise the implementation of administrative policies in relation to academic issues, procedures and requirements as well as introducing new ones in compliance with the rules and policies set by MOHE.
  • Supervises the self-sponsored students request to be included in scholarships.
  • Represents the Cultural Mission in meetings with various universities.
