Welcome to the Department of the Medical and
Health Science Programs
The Department of the Medical and Health Sciences Programs is a rapidly growing division of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission and was established by the Cultural Attaché, Dr. Mohammed AlEissa in 2007.
Since its founding, the department has been able to nurture students and doctors with rich educational programs in the best American institutions for pre and post graduate learning and expertise. Affiliations have been increasing on a monthly basis, and the department has affirmed its exposure tied to distinguished universities, hospital deans, program directors, and international offices.
The department sponsors over 3,457 students and doctors enrolled in 188 affiliated universities and teaching hospitals.
Our Mission
The Department of the Medical and Health Science Programs is committed to the following:
- Providing prosperous opportunities using medical graduate student exchange programs and practice positions for doctors.
- Continuously developing connections with American universities and teaching hospitals in order to construct joint research opportunities and build bridges between the American and Saudi Arabian medical fields.
- Supervising scholars in pursuing degrees in the health sciences. These degrees include medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, veterinary, and other medical fields.
